THE WATCHER & SUNFLOWER

These two paintings are the beginning of our JUST PAINT on our PAINTING FRIENDS forum.  This is a challenge for all of us who belong to do a painting a day.   My seagull is for June 1 and the Sunflower is for June 2.  Thanks to our member Wyna for starting this and pushing me into painting something every day.   Hope you enjoy these two watercolors.  And thanks for viewing.

A LION

 First let me thank Gary Jones from Paint My Photo for this photo of a lion.   Then let me thank Stephie for her demo on our Painting Friends Forum.    I had a wonderful time painting her and using my watercolors again.  I painted this with a large brush #26 and dropped different colors in it.  I hope everyone is having a wonderful day and thanks for viewing.

A Quiet Moment

 This is a painting from my photo of the sun going down over the intercoastal waterway in Florida.  It is oil done on gallery wrap stretched canvas.   I loved the way the clouds were coming in as the sun was beginning to set. I hope everyone can relate to the stillness of this time of day.  Appreciate everyone viewing this and thanks.
