Moored Boats On Wynah Bay
Boy it is forever since I posted on this blog it seems. So sorry for that but life seems to go in different
directions from when I started this. For the up coming year I hope to do more art work and try and keep this blog current. Even if it is just studies, doodles etc.
This is a painting I did for a on line workshop doing cloud studies. This on line workshop is led by Richard Robinson an outstanding Australian painter and can be found in the Complete Artist. I hope every one sees this painting as a lovely summer day just resting on the water with beautiful puffy clouds traveling across the sky. Love to hear your comments and thanks for viewing. .

Two Different Looks of the Same Bridge
These two watercolors are from a photo I took back in 2008. This covered bridge is in Western Pennsylvania where I used to live. The season I decided to paint for both of them is Late Summer Early Fall, when the leaves are just starting to turn.
This side view one is very close to what the photo looks like .

For this head on view I changed the area around the bridge. I took out the stone wall on the left and added fence posts. I also changed trees and added another fence on the right. The distant bg is also different. I hope you enjoy the quietness of these two paintings as there was no one around when I took these photos. Thanks for viewing, please leave a comment if you like.

Mollie's Still Life
Wanted everyone to see what we ( Painting Friends ) worked on at our recent get together in Florida. This is from a photo taken by a wonderful artist, Mollie Jones, who is also one of our members. The photo and drawing we used was to show us how much fun it is to do silver in watercolor. Boy I enjoyed painting this one and I hope everyone sees my joy in this. Thanks Mollie for the set up . And thank you all for viewing and commenting on this painting,
