Sunbather

Hello everyone, we are having beautiful weather here for a change. Thanks everyone for commenting on my daffodils, I appreciate all of them.  This is painted from a photo provided by  aphiddew on Wet Canvas.  Thankyou aphiddew.  I very seldom paint animals but I really liked this photo and the way the sun plays into it.  I am very happy with this as it turned out how I wanted it to look.  I hope everyone enjoys my little sunbather, as much as I have.  Thanks again for following my blog and commenting. Means a lot to me.

    Nora, I like this a lot too. You caught the sense of sunshine beaming down on the turtle's shell and rock with your wonderful handling of the warms and cools.

    Beautifully painted, Nora! As Nora Kasten has just said, you have painted sunshine and warmth through your palette and your highlights. Right now, instead of being in cold Ottawa, I certainly would not mind taking the place of your little sunbather:-)

    Love this painting. Reminds me of home. I grew up in Georgia and had relatives in South Carolina. Lovely picture and your art is wonderful.
