Sunny Daffodils

  Hi Everyone     I thought I would share  my latest watercolor painting.  This is from our  Paintings Friends Friday Foto Challenge for this week. The photo was supplied by my Painting Friend, Lil,  Thankyou Lil for such a lovely photo.  I really enjoyed painting this one.  Daffodils are one of my favorite flowers and I believe it shows.  This is done on Arches 140 CP size 8"by 6". Colors used were Transparent Red Oxide,Aur. Yellow, Cad Yel Light, Quin Orange, Sap Green,Ult Bl,Perm Green Light and Dark,Mineral Violet, Indanthroe Blue and Pthalo Blue.  I hope you enjoy this sunny painting and once again thanks for looking.  I also love reading the comments too.

    This is like a breath of springtime! Beautiful! You achieved great shadings and highlights. I find yellow so difficult to work with, but your results are super.

    These daffs are so pretty Nora! I like the sense of movement you've captured in this bouquet too! Such a unique looking flower, so beautiful!
